How long does a timeshare week take to sell?
It depends on the resort, week, price and season. Fixed weeks at branded resorts (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt) in high season sell in 1-3 months. Floating weeks or lesser-known resorts can take 4-9 months. Listings with real photos and market-adjusted price sell 5× faster.
Can I sell if I still owe maintenance fees or a loan?
Yes, but you need to disclose it in the listing and usually clear the debt at the point of sale. Most resorts require fees current to authorize transfer. If you have outstanding debt, state it upfront: some buyers take it on for a lower price, and some professionals (resellers) negotiate it directly.
Do I have to pay for a featured listing?
No. All approved listings appear on equal terms in the catalogue and search results. We don’t sell featured positions: we want buyers to find the listing that best matches their search, not the seller who paid the most.
Who pays the commission — buyer or seller?
The seller pays the commission only when the sale closes and payment is confirmed. The buyer pays the full agreed price, no surprise fees. We tell you the exact percentage before you accept the offer so you decide with all the facts.
What documents do I need?
To list: nothing required (you can start the ad without documents). To get approved and receive enquiries: latest paid maintenance fee receipt and timeshare contract/deed. If you have your ID or passport, you speed up verification. All documents are private — only our team sees them, never published.
How is the sale signed? Do I need a notary?
It depends on the right type. Deeded ownership requires notary signature and transfer taxes (typically 6-10 % in Spain). Right-to-use or points usually just need a transfer contract managed by the resort. We guide you case by case, but always recommend independent legal advice to close.
Do you accept timeshares outside Spain?
